In this session, I will show how to create an App Action in your app and display content inside the Assistant with Slices.

Widgets were introduced in Android Cupcake back in 2009, since then they have been used as a shortcut to an app or a way to display content without having to open the app, although sometimes the home screen could get crowded or the widget could get unnoticed in the widget menu.

App Actions and Slices brings a new way to show app content to the user right inside the Assistant, without the need to parse complex queries or implement verbose Widgets APIs.

In this session, I will show how to create an App Action in your app and display your app content right inside the Assistant with Slices.
