Developing camera based applications on Android is often times frustrating due to the fragmentation of Android devices supported around the world. With the new Jetpack support library CameraX, developers’ lives are about to get much simpler!

In this talk we’ll take a look at the basic capabilities of CameraX, extension features that provide device-specific capabilities, and how to properly use it with lifecycle components.
